What’s more, the Alpha Wolf Performance model features other upgrades. For a start, the Performance comes with more distinctive, two-tone woodwork. Made from red and grey laminate, the Performance stock also sports a stylish new grey burst finish on its forend lip. This perfectly complements the practical Picatinny accessory rail. And at the other end, the Alpha Wolf Performance also features our new Gecko, anti-slip ventilated butt pad. This is 10mm deeper and has also been machined from composite using the latest, state-of-the art 3D manufacturing processes. Of course, the Performance model still incorporates myriads of groundbreaking technologies that have made the user-programmable Alpha Wolf electronic PCP air rifle the most advanced airgun on the planet. These include its user-programmable, computerised action, colour touchscreen, integral chronograph, full electronic firing cycle and adjustable factory-fitted HUMA-Air Regulator. The Performance also retains the Alpha Wolf’s capability to integrate with a Windows home computer to keep its firmware fully up to date (via the optional DTD Data Transfer Device). This means the Alpha Wolf Performance will benefit from any future upgrades and developments that Daystate releases as and when they become available. The new Daystate Alpha Wolf sits alongside the Delta Wolf as a more sportier orientated electronic PCP, while maintaining a state-of-the-art computerised and programable action, high-end specification and power levels up to 95 ft/lbs. Elsewhere, the Alpha Wolf maintains the high-end features first seen on the Delta Wolf: on-board chronograph, quick-and-easy barrel changes, touch-screen programming and Windows platform synchronisation courtesy of an optional plug-in ‘dongle’, electronic air regulation, double-magazine system, A.R.T barrel, adjustable cheek and butt pad, fully adjustable trigger and blade, carbon-fibre bottle and multiple accessory rails. It has also been designed to accept a host third-party options and upgrades, such as those from Precision Rifle Systems.
